A POP star has been spotted in Borough Green.

One Direction singer Harry Styles has been seen in the High Street.

He is happy to pose for photographs with fans and show off his bright white smile but keeps tight-lipped about his on-off relationship with Taylor Swift.

The fact that Mr Styles is in fact a life-size cardboard cutout will disappoint some, and relieve others.

Purchased by store owner Russell Yeoell, it has taken up residence in his The Secret Garden gift shop.

Mr Yeoell will take photographs of people alongside the star, and e-mail them for a fee of £2.50 or print them off for an extra £1.

All proceeds raised will go to the Kent Air Ambulance, and Mr Yeoell will keep a record of everyone who poses with the cutout, so, once shoots are over, someone will be selected to take Mr Styles home.

Mr Yeoell said: "It's just a bit of fun, but I want to raise money for the Air Ambulance, they do such a great job. Harry arrived yesterday and he's definitely an addition to the store, although he does make me jump sometimes, lurking around.

"All day I've been saying to people: 'Look who's arrived in my shop'."
